Light Rail service is provided by the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). The Light Rail station is located immediately outside the lower level of the terminal building, adjacent to Concourse E. Fare is $1.60 and travel time is approximately 30 minutes to Pratt St Light Rail Station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Amtrak also serves BWI with connections to Washington DC, Philadelphia PA, and points beyond. Free Amtrak shuttles run 24 hours per day, every 12 minutes from 5am-1am and every 25 minutes from 1am-5am. Shuttles stop at the Lower Level Terminal Roadway between doors 1&2, 8&9, 14&15, and 17&18. Once the last pickup has been made, the Amtrak station is one mile away. Taxis from the airport to Washington, D.C. run $90.

SuperShuttle has two locations near Baggage Claim, located near Door #2 (Southwest Airlines Terminal - Concourse A) or Door #9 (Concourse C). Fares are $15 to Baltimore's Inner Harbor and travel times run 20-40 minutes, depending on passenger count and traffic conditions.
